Don't want to be recognized in a photo? With these simple tips, you can make your picture anonymous.
You can use any standard image editing program. Many computers already have pre-installed programs such as Paint. In addition to professional tools such as Photoshop, there are also free alternatives such as Gimp, which you can download from the Internet. If you don't want to install a program, pixlr.com offers you a completely web-based solution.
Simply open your image editing program and select the image you want to edit. Some programs have functions such as “mosaic”, “pixel deformation” or “blur”. Make sure to edit the image thoroughly so that it is not rejected when it is reviewed.
Over-edited or unprofessionally edited images will not be accepted. Pictures that have simply been “scribbled on” with the paint function will also be rejected.
After you have edited your picture, save it under a new file name to keep the original and not overwrite it. You can then upload the edited image to your photo gallery.
This way you can present yourself on our site without having to worry about being recognized by neighbors, colleagues, or family members.
ATTENTION: Photos that have been made unrecognizable by inserting emojis, hearts, other symbols, or Snapchat filters will NOT be accepted. Make sure to avoid these methods and also follow our picture rules.
